Signscape Systems selects ProgressPlus
Berkeley Myles Solutions today announced that Signscape Systems has deployed ProgressPlus Business Control Software to help deliver a comprehensive and cohesive management view of their business and help to improve operational efficiency.
Signscape Systems based in Bristol, was formed in July as a management buyout from Signpost Solutions. The company designs and manufactures a wide range of signs in a variety of different materials.
“As we evaluated the business during the MBO process, we realised that the existing information contained in spreadsheets, word documents and other programmes was very inefficient and did not give us the management insights we would need as the new company moved forward”, said Hamish Paterson, managing director at Signscape Systems.
“After evaluating a number of different systems, we selected ProgressPlus since it could be customised to our specific needs and the high level of after sales support being offered by Berkeley Myles Solutions.”
“Right from the first contact we had with the company we were impressed by their professionalism and their focus on the customer and what we needed. That gave us a high degree of confidence.”
ProgressPlus was installed and was operational within a matter of weeks and Signscape Systems are currently using the software across their entire business – from preparing customer estimates through to invoicing for finished products.
The company plans to deploy additional ProgressPlus capability early in 2007, including Bill of Materials, Shop Floor Loading and Quality.
