Berkeley Myles Solutions – Who are we?
Our main value, since we bought Berkeley Myles Solutions and began trading in 1996, has been to provide what our customers need.
We realised from the start, no two companies are the same and our systems have continually evolved to satisfy new requirements of our customers.
‘Bolting-on’ functionality to existing software generally makes it less flexible and more cumbersome to use. This, coupled with advances in technology, encouraged us to develop a completely new software product from scratch.
Our decision to re-design from scratch was based on our extensive experience, our continual development programme and our excellent backup and support services ensure that our customers can rely on us to help keep them at the forefront of their industry.
Progress was launched in the summer of 2002 and since then it has been growing and changing year on year. There are now over 3,750 users throughout the UK operating and more importantly getting benefit from the system.
Listen to managing director, Tony MacBride talk about the company now:
Culture and Philosophy
Walk around our office and you will see lots of intriguing things:
- A boardroom table that is a pool table
- A dartboard
- Casually dressed employees
- Lots of bikes from the people who cycle to work every day
- Co-workers talking passionately about how to improve our production control system
- If only there was a fridge stocked with beer and snacks
We believe that manufacturing software is drastically changing for the better and ours is working to help businesses navigate that change. We believe that software should give you exactly what you need and that software can be both easy to use and powerful.
