Since we took over Berkeley Myles Solutions in 1999, our main value has been to deliver the best level of service to our customers. We believe in responsive customer service, and that’s why we don’t use ticketing systems. Whatever you need, we are always just a phone call away.

How it began

We decided to develop entirely new software for production control from scratch because we didn’t like what was on the market. The only solutions that manufacturers had available were bolt-on functions which weren’t flexible and hard to use.

We wanted to create software that could be easily updated, and we built the software with the customer’s every need in mind.

Our decision to redesign software from scratch was based on our extensive experience, continual development programme, and excellent backup and support services.

ProgressPlus was launched in the summer of 2002, and since then, it has been growing and changing year on year. There are now thousands of users throughout the UK operating and, more importantly, benefiting from the system.

Roadmap

History of Berkeley Myles Solutions

1996

Berkeley Myles Solutions was formed.

1999

Three directors Tony, Mark and Martin took over Berkeley Myles Solutions.

2002

The product was redeveloped from scratch and became Progress.

2006

As you bolt-on functionality, like building tower blocks, the building will, eventually, become unstable. For that reason, the product was redesigned again – ProgressPlus was born.

2009

Due to continued growth, we moved to a purpose-built building in the heart of Glasgow’s manufacturing sector – Govan.

2010

ProgressPlus version 2 was redeveloped from the ground up. It combines comprehensive functionality alongside ease of use for small to medium-sized companies. These companies, typically, don’t have the necessary IT infrastructure and resources, making it easy for them to set up, navigate and interrogate the data.

2020

Set up a customer support base in Ireland. 4000 ProgressPlus users, 400 sites and 19 members of staff.
